The founders of Braynz are pioneers in translating neuroscience into marketing strategy and research. Based on our experience and successes, the need arose to develop more services in close collaboration with scientists. Braynz was founded at the end of 2015. Experienced marketers and young behavioral scientists decided to join forces. There was a voyage of discovery where science & marketing went hand in hand to further discover the new world of neuromarketing. A unique experience. Neuromarketing is a relatively young but very innovative field of study. The term was introduced in 2002 by Marketing Professor Ale Smidts. The targeted application of neuroscientific theory and the use of methodologies from science to measure reactions in the brain or the body with consumers is therefore fairly new. There is still no standard manual or method for translating business problems such as “I want loyal customers” to a research method that gives ready-made answers to this question. In the marketing programs too, relatively little attention is paid to this way of research. So much neuromarketing research has an innovative and experimental character. This requires flexibility, creativity and the courage to innovate and experiment both of the client and researchers. Braynz is at the forefront of developing new methods and combining techniques to serve clients. Neuromarketing offers a lot of possibilities as standard methodologies fall short. The challenge for everyone involved is to fully exploit the new possibilities. Marketers have access to a new tool. However, if we start digging with a new shovel in the same old places, we will not find any new answers. It is therefore also important to be able to ask and dare new questions.
